2006 Chiayi City Violin Festival -- Violin Solo by Su Hsien-ta

On October 1st (Sunday), starting at 3:00 PM, the world-renowned violinist, Su Hsien-ta, who studied music in France and later came back to Taiwan, is going to perform on violin solo in the music hall of the Municipal Culture Center.
Su Hsien-ta, graduated from the Normal Music School in Paris, is now teaching at the Departments of Music of Taipei National University of the Arts and National Taiwan Normal University. Su is also a member of Taipei Sinfonietta and Philharmonic Orchestra, and is hosting a popular radio program called “the Charming Violin World.” This coming performance is the 20th anniversary of Su’s stay here in Taiwan after returning from Paris.
The items on the program include Taiwanese folk music “Ode to Taiwan” and “Facing the Spring Breeze”, as well as S.FRANCK “Sonata for violin and piano in A major” , and FALLA “Danse Espagnole”. Those who are music fanatics are cordially invited to join this borderless world of music.
