Chiayi City Pandemic Dissemination in Mandarin and Taiwanese through Speakers by the Police Banning Those Who Don’t Wear Masks and Gatherings

        In response to the announcement of the Covid-19 level 3 alert in effect around Taiwan, people are required to wear masks in public areas and practice social distancing. Chiayi City Police Bureau recorded the slogan “Protect yourself and protect others.” In Mandarin and Taiwanese for the dissemination led by the two deputies of the two precincts. Despite the dissemination, there were still 3 people who didn’t wear masks and violated the regulation and they’ll be fined by the Public Health Bureau.

        Due to the outbreak, the general-director of the Police Bureau reminds people to wear masks while in public areas. Those who violate the regulation will be fined NTD3,000 to NTD15,000. In order to lower the number of cases through crowd transmission, indoor gatherings over 5 people and outdoor gatherings over 10 people are not allowed, gatherings violating the regulation will be dismissed and violators will be fined NTD60,000 to NTD300,000.

        In order to stabilize the social order, the police will increase the frequency of inspections on places closed during the pandemic and work on banning fake news. Most importantly, everyone should cooperate during the pandemic to make sure the safety and order in our society.
